User Experience / User Interface Designer
Front-End Web Designer & Developer
Graphic Designer
I am a designer and a developer with the ability to think creatively and technically to research, design, and create projects, solve problems, develop and implement applications, as well as lead and manage multiple people and projects.
As a designer I can create and establish brand identities as well as design within established brands. I also design and develop User Interfaces from prototyping to coding, to implementing final designs. I also know how to research and participate in User Experience processes and methods to help customers understand user needs and arrive at solutions and establish requirements.
I am also able to crank out code for front-end website and application design and development. I am skilled in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HTML. I know my way around C# and am able to jump into projects easily. Knowing how to develop gives me a pretty good understanding of what's possible and how to communicate my designs to developers.
I am able to lead projects small and large, technical and creative. I am able to see the bigger picture to solve problems. I am highly motivated, loyal, positive, and passionate about my work. I believe in effective communication and am not afraid to try new roles and responsibilities.

Featured Projects
Check out a few featured projects below.
Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Program Public Website
I created a brand identity for the CAGE Program and designed a new public facing website. I researched their users and examined the customer's needs to create a website that would give the users the ability to find what they needed quickly and allow the customer to easily communicate notices and provide information to their users. Their website allows a user to search CAGE code information in a few steps and easily find the information they need. I also provided CSS development and support during development of the website.

I had the opportunity to participate in a stretch assignment for several months to learn and offer additional support. I was plopped in a very small team of User Experience and Interface Designers and Developers to help redesign DTS. I had to get up-to-speed quickly to provide mock-ups for several new pages and functions. Collaborated remotely multiple times a week to create designs and make decisions on features and application needs. This project was a major redesign which meant major change for the users, with great visibility. I was able to work seamlessly with the team and collaborate on the project using Axure RP.
